Cillian Ó Súilleabháin Furniture is a Furniture Design business based in Co. Kilkenny. Established in 2011, we hand-craft modern, wood furniture, at our workshop in the Blackstairs. Working closely with our clients, we provide simple, elegant, solutions to their furniture needs.

About Cillian

Cillian studied Mechanical Engineering at Trinity College before turning his attention to the craft industry. He started his apprenticeship by studying traditional cabinet-making with master craftsman David Woods. From there he spent time with renowned Irish furniture-maker, Stephen O'Briain, where he received a masterclass in the design and manufacture of modern wood furniture.

Cillian's designs have featured in the Craft's Council's Futuremakers exhibition at the Hunt Museum (Dec 2010-Jan 2011) and his table Gúna was a finalist of the RDS Crafts Competition 2010.
